Why Re-Registration is Important ?
The Employment Exchange Department has issued a notification for candidates registered before 2nd January 2024 in Assam. You must re-register through the Sewa Setu portal on or before 31st December 2024 to ensure your details are up-to-date. Failure to do so will result in the invalidation of your registration.
Complete Guide to Re-Register Your Employment Exchange Card via Sewa Setu Portal
To keep your Employment Exchange Card valid, follow these steps to re-register through the Sewa Setu portal:
Visit the Sewa Setu Portal:
Navigate to the Services Tab
- Hover over the Services tab and search for Skill, Employment and Entrepreneurship option.
Select Re-Registration Service:
- Choose Re-registration of Registration Card of Employment Seeker in Employment Exchange and click Apply.
Log in Using Your Epraman Credentials:
- Enter your Epraman credentials to log in.
Apply with Aadhaar (Recommended):
- Click on Apply with Aadhaar.
Read and Agree to Instructions:
- The application for re-registration will appear. Carefully read the instructions and tick all three consents in the consent section
Declare Aadhaar Consent:
- Scroll down, tick the Aadhaar consent, and enter your Aadhaar card details. Click Verify Aadhaar.
Verify OTP:
- Enter the OTP sent to your mobile and click Verify.
Updating Your Information and Submitting the Application
Enter Registration Number:
- Input the registration number of your previous Employment Exchange card and click Get Data.
Review and Update Details:
- Review your prefilled personal details, select the type of registration (Application Details Update/Correction), and click Proceed.
Fill in Personal Details:
- Complete your personal information, including physical attributes, and click Save & Next.
Update Education Information:
- Choose your highest education level, fill in the required details, and upload your pass certificate and marksheet (subject suggestions will appear after typing the first few letters). Click Save & Next.
Add Additional Qualifications:
- If applicable, add additional qualifications or certificates, and click Save & Next.
Provide Employment and Skills Details:
- Fill in your employment/career details, languages known, and key skills. Click Save & Next.
Select Employment Exchange Office:
- Choose your Employment Exchange Office and click Save & Next.
Upload Documents:
- Upload all necessary documents, including your photo and signature. You can also connect your DigiLocker account to fetch documents directly.
Declare No Objection Consent:
- Scroll down, declare the no objection consent, and click Save & Next.
Preview and Final Submit:
- Preview your application form carefully and click Final Submit.
Complete Email Verification:
- Enter your email ID, click Send OTP, and enter the OTP from your email inbox. Click Verify OTP.
Save Your Employment Exchange Card:
- Once completed, your Employment Exchange Card will be displayed. Please save it for your records.
