Registration of employment seeker in Employment Exchange ASSAM
The Employment Exchange Card is essential for government job seekers in Assam. Students aiming for government positions based on their educational qualifications must register for this card. All Indian citizens aged 14 and above, who are permanent residents of Assam, are eligible to register.
Important: Ensure that you scan and resize all required documents, including your signature and photo.
For Aadhaar Based Registration:
To register with Aadhaar, submit the following documents:
- Age Proof: Choose one from Birth Certificate, HSLC Admit Card, or School Certificate.
- Proof of Residency: Provide any of the following: Driving License (self or parents), Copy of Chitha/Jamabandi (self or parents), Passport (self or parents), or Certified Copy of Electoral Roll/EPIC (self or parents).
- Educational Qualification Certificates: Pass Certificates and Mark Sheets; Caste Certificate if applying under SC/ST/OBC/MOBC/EWS.
- For P.W.D Candidates: Disability certificate issued by a competent authority.
- Additional Documents: Additional Qualification Certificates (if any), Experience Certificates (if any), Non-Creamy Layer Certificate.
- Optional: Aadhaar Card.
Non-Aadhaar Based Registration
For those not using Aadhaar, submit:>
- Age Proof: Choose one from Birth Certificate, HSLC Admit Card, or School Certificate.
- Proof of Residency: Driving License (either self or parents), Copy of Chitha/Jamabandi (either self or parents), Copy of Passport (either self or parents), Certified Copy of Electoral Roll/EPIC (either self or parents).
- Educational Qualification Certificate : Pass Certificate (S) and Mark Sheet(S) Caste Certificate in cases of SC/ST/OBC/MOBC/EWS applicants
- For P.W.D Candidates: Disability certificate issued by a competent authority.
- Additional Documents: Additional Qualification Certificates (if any), Experience Certificates (if any), Non-Creamy Layer Certificate.
Application Process
Important: To access the services on Sewa Setu, citizens have to register on the ePramaan portal or connect their RTPS account with ePramaan.
To apply, follow these steps:
- Access the Sewa Setu Portal: Click Here to Visit
- Navigate to Services: Click on the ‘Services’ tab and select ‘Department-wise Services’ on the right.
- Choose Your Option
- Register: Click ‘Register’ before applying.
- Application: Choose ‘Apply with Aadhaar’ (recommended) or ‘Apply Without Aadhaar.’ After completing the form online, you will receive an acknowledgment receipt with the date and time for physical document verification.
- Login to ePramaan:
- Complete the Application Form: Read the guidelines, fill out the form, agree to the terms, upload your signature, complete the captcha, and submit.
- Select the Mobile tab on the login page. Enter your RTPS registered mobile number and password, which was used in e-Pramaan Registration.(If you don’t have an e-Pramaan account yet, then please register with e-Pramaan using the RTPS linked mobile number [if you are not registered with RTPS before, you can use any phone number to register with ePramaan] by clicking the Sign up for MeriPehchan link.)
- Verify Aadhaar Number: Enter the OTP sent to your mobile.
- Review and Attach Documents: Ensure all information is correct, attach necessary documents, and click ‘Submit.’
- Payment: Make the payment via UPI or listed gateways.
- Receive Your Card: After successful payment, your Employment Exchange Card will be generated. Print or save it.
★ Digitize Old Offline Card: Click on ‘Re-registration of Registration Card of Employment Seeker’ and then ‘Apply’.
★ New Registration: Click on ‘Registration of Employment Seeker’ and then ‘Apply’.
★ Renewal: Click on ‘Renewal of Registration Card of Employment Seeker’ and then ‘Apply’.
★ Click ‘Citizen’ and then ‘Login/Registration’.
★ Enter your RTPS registered mobile number and password. If you don’t have an ePramaan account, register using the RTPS linked mobile number.
