How to Correct Your SEBA Certificate

If you’ve noticed an error on your certificate issued by the Board of Secondary Education, Assam (SEBA), it’s essential to get it corrected promptly.

Access Online Services
- Click on Online Services.
Select Correction of Certificate
- Choose CORRECTION OF CERTIFICATE from the options.
Read the Instructions
- Carefully read the instructions provided on the next page.
Apply for Correction
- Scroll down and click on Apply for Correction.
- Fill Out the E-Form and Upload Documents
- An E-form will appear for the correction of documents. Fill out the application form accurately.
- For students from the 1998 batch or later: Upload the Registration Card.
- For students prior to 1998: Upload the Admit Card.
- Select where corrections need to be made (Registration Card / Admit Card / Marks Sheet / Pass Certificate).
- Carefully fill out only the fields that need correction.
- If you need to change your photo and/or signature, tick both options and submit one sample of photo/signature along with the downloaded application form.
- Provide a valid phone number for future references.
- Preview and Submit
- Review your application before final submission.
Proceed to Payment
- Click on Proceed to payment.
- Read the guidelines on the next page. If you want to pay online, scroll down and click on Pay Online Now. Alternatively, you can choose Pay Later to pay at a later time.
- Complete the payment by selecting a payment gateway.
Download and print the acknowledgment slip for future reference.

For photo/signature changes, submit one sample of photo/signature along with the downloaded application form.
Ensure the scanned image is in .jpeg/.png format and the file size is up to 200KB.
