How to Apply and download Certified Copy of Jamabandi or Records of Right/Chitha in Assam?
In Assam, If you want to know ancestral land ownership details and any other land ownership details, you have to apply for a jamabandi copy. A Certified copy of Jamabandi contains detailed information about the land property and history of holders of land.
NOTE: To access the services on Sewa Setu, citizens have to register on the ePramaan portal or connect their RTPS account with ePramaan.

- Visit the Sewa Setu portal Assam Click here to visit
- Move the cursor to Services tab and Click on Department wise Services on right side.
- On the left side look for Revenue and Disaster Management option and Click. Now you can see the Certified Copy of Jamabandi or Records of Right/Chitha option on the page.
- On the right side Click on apply
- You will be redirected to a new page. Click on Citizen and then click on Login/Registration.
- You will be redirected to the ePramaan Login page.
- Select the Mobile tab on the login page. Enter your RTPS registered mobile number and password, which was used in e-Pramaan Registration.(If you don’t have an e-Pramaan account yet, then please register with e-Pramaan using the RTPS linked mobile number [if you are not registered with RTPS before, you can use any phone number to register with ePramaan] by clicking the Sign up for MeriPehchan link.)
- Click on Sign In.
If you wish to connect your RTPS account with Digilocker, click on “Proceed,” or you can skip by clicking on “Skip now.” - ( You will be Redirect to your Application Form)
- Fillup the Land details and Click on Next
- Fillup the Applicant details in English and Click on Next
- Upload the Documents ( Land Revenue receipt [ Khazana receipt]
- Click on Next
- Please Preview the Application and Accept the Agreement.
- Click on Finish and Make the Payment.
- Print the Application Acknowledgement.
Stipulated Time Limit : 5 days (as per ARTPS citizen charter)
Fees :
Rs. 20/- will be charged as Application Fees (Mode of Payment will be Online).
Convenience fee- Rs. 10/-
Service charge (through PFC/CSC) – Rs. 30.
Printing charge (in case of any printing from PFC/CSC) – Rs. 10 per page.
Scanning charge (in case documents are scanned in PFC/CSC) – Rs. 5 per page.
